Setup & First Use Care
- Placement: Keep the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of clear space around the back and sides of the unit to allow proper ventilation.
- Initial Clean: Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the removable air fry basket and crisping tray in warm, soapy water. Wipe down the inner cavity and exterior housing with a damp cloth.
Cleaning
- After Every Use, Cool Down First: Always unplug the unit from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down completely before handling or cleaning.
- The Basket and Crisping Tray: Both removable components are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, you can hand-wash them with a non-abrasive sponge or nylon brush using warm water and mild dish soap.
- Dealing with Stuck Food: If there are stubborn food particles burnt onto the tray, soak the basket in hot, soapy water for 10–15 minutes before scrubbing gently. Never use steel wool or metal scouring pads, as these will ruin the ceramic non-stick finish.
- Interior & Heating Element: Grease splatters can settle on the upper heating element. Wipe it carefully with a damp cloth or soft-bristled brush once completely cold. Never submerge the main unit or pour water inside the housing.
- Exterior: Wipe down the digital control panel and outer casing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sprays to preserve the finish.
Operation & Cooking Tips for Easy Maintenance
- Utensil Selection: Use plastic, silicone, or wooden kitchen tools when handling food inside the basket. Avoid metal forks or tongs that can scratch the interior coating.
- Proper Loading: Avoid overloading the basket. Laying ingredients in a single layer ensures hot air circulates perfectly and prevents excessive grease accumulation or uneven cooking.
- Cookware Limits: If you use baking containers inside the basket, only use oven-safe glass or metal molds. Do not place cardboard, paper, or plastic packaging inside the appliance.
